Spring has sprung!!

At last spring sunshine has arrived, the days are getting longer and the daffodils are blooming in the Lake District after a what seems to have been a very long  winter. We are delighted to see that many of our past guests at Colwith are already booking to stay again this year. The flood damage from late 2015  to parts of the Lake District has been repaired and thankfully fading from memory. The A591 road from Grasmere to Keswick was opened again last summer & so  Grasmere is most definitely accessible and the village businesses are thriving again. The Lake District is wonderful at all times of the year but spring-time with daffodils blooming, baby lambs being born & the beautiful fresh green colours of the landscape remind us of where Wordsworth’s inspiration came from to write one of his most famous poems. Come & see it for yourself :-)
